Ramin Sepehrirad
PhD Candidate (ABD)
Carson College of Business Washington State University
Hi! I’m Ramin (rah-meen), a Ph.D. Candidate (ABD) in the Operations and Management Science program at the Department of Finance and Management Science at Carson College of Business, Washington State University, advised by Kevin Mayo and Paul Skilton.
My research explores how the dynamics among supply chain actors and stakeholders at different levels drive performance. I utilize secondary datasets and empirical methods to explore how interactions between firms, consumers and regulators can help mitigate unintended outcomes.
Before embarking on my doctorate studies, I served in different roles such as management consultant, researcher and logistics analyst in a wide range of industries including Healthcare, Manufacturing, Banking and the public sector. Insights developed during my decade-long industry experiences and deep engagement with organizations have shaped my research interests. Before joining WSU, I received a Msc. in Management Science from Tarbiat Modares University (ranked 4th in Iran) and a BSc. in Industrial Management from the University of Science & Culture, both in Iran.
